[Main Ecosystem News] Lemon HealthCare Vice President Wins President’s Commendation for 15th Medical Device Day
Joon-Hyun Kim, vice president of Lemon HealthCare, a LEMONCHAIN’s main alliance and healthcare data two-way platform company, won the president’s commendation at the 15th Medical Device Day event held Intercontinental Seoul COEX on May 27.
The 15th Medical Device Day event is hosted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and organized by the Korea Medical Device Industry Association. It has been held since 2008 to promote the importance of medical devices to commemorate the enactment and promulgation of the Medical Device Act.
Joon-Hyun Kim contributed to creating a non-face-to-face medical environment by promoting the “Lemon Care Platform,” the first paperless mobile smart hospital platform in Korea, to advanced general hospitals and general hospitals.
In addition, from the beginning of COVID-19, he was awarded a presidential citation for his contribution to public health activities, such as supporting general health care to effectively respond to COVID-19 by establishing a “life treatment center non-face-to-face treatment service” app.
“Lemon Care Platform” is a platform that provides various medical convenience services such as medical reservation, Kakao Notification Talk-based simple payment, electronic receipt issuance, electronic prescription issuance and pharmacy delivery, and loss insurance claims. Since 2017, it has supplied apps to 90 advanced general hospitals and general hospitals in Korea. For reference, 32 hospitals, more than 70% of advanced general hospitals in Korea, use the platform.
In addition, the “Living Treatment Center Non-face-to-face Care Service” app is a portal system that allows medical staff to monitor health information such as body temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, and blood sugar, including questionnaire information.
